CLEAR BOUNDARIES. BETTER JOURNEYS.

Some things should
never make this trip.

Use these conservative ShipdeHop exclusions before planning a peer-to-peer handoff. An item being legal to own does not mean it is suitable to carry.

Illegal or stolen goods

Stolen property, counterfeit goods sold unlawfully, illicit drugs and any item whose possession or transport is unlawful.

Weapons and explosives

Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks and weapon components.

Flammable or hazardous substances

Fuel, gas cylinders, flammable liquids, corrosive chemicals, toxic materials, radioactive substances and dangerous industrial goods.

Unknown or concealed contents

Uninspected mystery parcels, misleading declarations and requests to conceal the contents from the traveller or authorities.

Cash and high-risk valuables

Cash, bearer instruments, precious metals, loose gemstones and jewellery of high value. Use a specialist service with appropriate safeguards.

Living beings and biological material

Live animals, human remains, blood, medical specimens, tissues and infectious materials. ShipdeHop is not medical or animal transport.

Temperature-critical or controlled goods

Vaccines, temperature-sensitive medicines, controlled drugs and other regulated medical supplies.

Alcohol, tobacco and restricted intoxicants

Do not arrange these through an ordinary ShipdeHop parcel. Restrictions vary by jurisdiction and transport mode.

Perishable or leaking contents

Spoiling food, unsealed liquids, leaking containers and anything needing a controlled cold chain.

Damaged or unsafe batteries

Swollen, leaking, recalled or damaged batteries, loose cells with exposed terminals and unsafe electrical devices.

Transport rules still apply

Rail, airline, bus and other carrier restrictions depend on the item and the actual journey. Batteries, liquids, tools and fragile items can require special handling or be refused. A category on this website is an educational guide, not approval to ship.

Check the actual operator’s rules before accepting an item. India Post’s prohibited-items guidance is one reference for postal services, not a substitute for another carrier’s rules or local law.

If you are unsure, do not accept it

Ask for a clear description. Decline unexplained or unsafe contents. Contact official ShipdeHop support before arranging an exception; a sender’s assurance does not override a prohibition.
