01What Marketplace does+
HopShop / Marketplace brings buyers and sellers together for peer-to-peer listings. When collection is needed, a compatible ParcelPool journey can connect the purchase with a traveller.
The purchase and the transport arrangement each need clear agreement. A listing does not automatically include delivery or guarantee that a traveller will accept the item.
02For sellers+
Describe the item’s condition, include current photographs and disclose known defects. State the pickup location and when you can hand the item over. Measure the packed item if a traveller will collect it.
03For buyers+
Ask the questions you would ask in person: Does it work? What is included? Can I see its current condition? What are its dimensions? Who will package it?
Agree inspection before collection. Do not assume the traveller is inspecting authenticity or guaranteeing the seller’s claims.
04Connect the collection+
Once the item is understood, look for a traveller whose route, date and capacity match. Confirm permission to release the purchase to that person and agree the receiving handoff.
05Payments and protection+
Production payments are disabled. ShipdeHop does not currently process payments or offer live escrow. Do not treat a marketplace example as a protected transaction. Read the current availability page before using the app.

The marketplace concept is peer-to-peer: buyers and sellers agree the item details directly.
