I’m Vinod Ashok Chinnannavar, founder and CEO of ShipdeHop. I’m building this entire ecosystem myself: the product, the experience and the connections between them.
ShipdeHop is operated by Shipster Technologies Private Limited. Behind the company name is a personal reason for starting.
My pet needed an urgent blood transfusion. The blood bank couldn’t deliver it. In that moment, the gap between having something available and getting it to the person who needs it felt very real.
That experience sparked ShipdeHop. What if we could connect a person who needs to send something with a traveller already going that way?
The idea grew: spare luggage space, an empty seat, a pre-loved item waiting for its next owner. These aren’t separate problems in everyday life. A purchase needs a pickup. A journey has spare space. A useful connection can help both sides.
The origin explains the motivation, not a medical-delivery service. ShipdeHop is not an emergency transport provider. Blood, medical specimens and other excluded goods must not be sent through ordinary peer-to-peer journeys.
I don’t want ShipdeHop to be an app people download and forget. I want it to be useful when you need to send something, when you’re travelling anyway, or when something you no longer use could help someone else.
I’m building it one piece at a time. Clear verification, understandable handoffs and honest expectations matter as much as how the product looks. If something feels confusing, I want to know. That’s how I want to build this.
