Make the listing specific
Show both faces and disclose odour, stains and cleaning history if known. Use plain descriptions rather than “perfect” or “like new” when wear is visible. A buyer should be able to understand exactly what is included.
Show what a buyer would inspect
Check both sides, edges, dimensions and backing condition. Photograph the relevant areas and disclose faults before agreeing a price. Explain any function you have not checked without implying that it works.
Plan the handoff before accepting collection
Roll with suitable backing support and wrap the clean, dry roll. Decide who supplies the packaging and give the collector the final measurements. Confirm when the item will be ready so the traveller is not waiting for packing.
Keep the handoff clear
