Make the listing specific
Show wear honestly; do not claim authenticity without supporting evidence. Use plain descriptions rather than “perfect” or “like new” when wear is visible. A buyer should be able to understand exactly what is included.
Show what a buyer would inspect
Inspect stitching, lining, zip and strap attachments. Photograph the relevant areas and disclose faults before agreeing a price. Explain any function you have not checked without implying that it works.
Plan the handoff before accepting collection
Empty pockets, support the shape and protect exposed metal fittings. Decide who supplies the packaging and give the collector the final measurements. Confirm when the item will be ready so the traveller is not waiting for packing.
